This is the perfect umbrella for my three year old. I love that it comes down on the sides, and its a great size. It's not the higest quality plastic, but will definitely last. Its not too heavy and she can hold it easily herself which is nice. Opening and closing it she can't quite do herself but I wouldn't expect her to at this point.

I bought this umbrella in September for my kindergarten boy. But I used it from last week. The umbrella ribs is easy to loose, then I need to figure it every time. The only thing is the umbrella is beautiful and clear. Doesn't worth $20.

I purchased this for my 2 1/2 year old granddaughter, and she loves it. Ordinarily I would not encourage an umbrella for such a little one, but she is very verbal, has exceptional fine motor control and has a big sister who she loves to imitate. This umbrella is easy for her to open and close, has really big safety balls on the end of the umbrella ribs, and has a nice curve to it so that the ribs stick down and not out. I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend it.
